Even superheroes need their dog.

Weekend project. You get your organization skills from your father.
(5 days later- you're still using all my pots.)

You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing.

This may be a boring photo to many, but it was a big moment.
You put your blankie and wub-a-nub in the wash- all on your own.
Never mind that you cried until the cycle ended, you put it in there and shut the door.

There was a big dig going on.
Those squares are where the Paleontologist's vehicles get parked.

I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.

A day spent exploring.

Your purse has been going everywhere with you these past few days. You gut upset if you misplace your keys.

My sweet making sweets for Valentines Day.
 30|365
The pet store is always a welcome adventure.
 31|365
Your favorite pastime.
 32|365
You were hiding from me, I couldn't find you.
 33|365
Morning forts.
 34|365
For Valentines Day we took a trip to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. You loved every moment of it. You always want to know more about sharks and octopuses.

Her spot.

You are a constant blur in my photographs, but I think that speaks volumes about your spirit. You are joyful and full of energy, I wouldn't want you any other way.

Big Brother. It's taken very seriously. You are a safety first kind of guy, and one of the most caring souls I've ever known.
 22|365
This is Borris. He hangs above your bed. You dress him up on occasion.
(and have a scratch off addiction)

Happy Birthday Tia Nikkers!
We are finally in driving distance so Eloise came thru on her promise of balloons.
 24|365
Improvise. Who needs expensive gadgets?
25|365
The past couple weeks you have doubled in size and your vocabulary is now human. This is the only time you are still my baby, it's breaking my heart.

I mess up.... a lot. And today I really wanted to get some photos of you at gymnastics. I took so many beautiful images... with no memory card in the camera. Luckily I brought along my trusty assistant. He had everything he needed and got this cute shot of you. Sam saved the day.

Girls night in. Those tiny hands bring me so much joy! You ate one whole cookie- raw.

Sometimes there are moments when you are content just being next to each other. It's such a relief. I'll be honest, there are days when I think the screaming and whining may never end, but 10 minutes of this makes it all worth while.

Yep. You hit me with that one, square in the lens. I think it was totally worth it.
